re-set is an organization that focused on addressing social and environmental issues, particularly the role of oligarchs, banks, and insurance companies in the climate crisis, as well as rental housing, energy poverty, just transformation, and solidarity-based economic structures.
Focusing on Central and Eastern Europe, they consider local specificities and avoid universal models. They advocate for a social-ecological transformation of the economy, challenging the profit-driven system that deepens inequality, harms the environment, and undermines democracy.
Why we support re-set
They are devising and promoting solutions that combine fast reductions in greenhouse gas emissions and landscape restoration with the correction of social inequities. They also support movements and initiatives pushing for a transition towards sustainable, renewable, and democratically controlled energy systems.
